Youthbank is a group in school which tries to ensure there are activities within the community for everyone. We meet on a Friday morning and discuss opportunities for development of the local community.
Everyone has the chance to get a grant for an activity or sports equipment. Youthbank wants to involve everyone in society. We aim to make our community a worthwhile place to grow up In. The community foundation of Northern Ireland provide funding for Youthbank and give the organization money to support the grants we distribute.
Some pupils in the past have received money for, dance equipment, CD‘s, dance mats, nail art and many more. In the next issue, find out about the groups who have been successful and receiving funding for their ideas.
