The Year 13 Performing Arts class visited the Northern Ireland Children‘s Hospice at Horizon House on Wednesday 13th December to perform at the children‘s Christmas party. The pupil‘s received a grant of £500 after applying to the School based Youth Bank Team, this grant was used to fund the event.
The money was used to buy presents for the children and purchase £300 worth of percussion instruments for the music therapist within the Children‘s Hospice.
The class performed 2 dances and musical items including ”All I want for Christmas“ for the children and it was a very enjoyable day. The pupils were much appreciated by the patients and hospice staff and sent a letter of thanks to show their gratitude.
