On the 6th December our Young Enterprise class travelled to Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena to attend a trade fair.
Natasha Boyle came up with the company name ”feel the fizz“.
The products we were selling were bath bombs and soap. As we were selling bath products we thought it would be a good idea to have a bath as part of our stall.
Mrs Wilson managed to obtain the bath which was generously donated by Beggs and Partners. The bath worked really well on the day as it attracted attention to the stall and people realised what we were selling. Mrs Ward then remembered that she had previously made her two daughters mermaid outfits, she thought that if we were to dress up in them and lie in the bath it would give the stall a good impact. On the day Mrs Wilson travelled with us and helped us set up our stall.
We had brought along a bubble machine to set off the image of our stall. This helped with the selling of the products as it was attracting young children and their parents. There were times when we were in the bath and hunky Turkish men and old grandpas were ready to jump in the bath with us!! The stalls were being judged on a number of different things including best display, ICT involvement and best product.
We managed to achieve the best display. All in all it was a very enjoyable day!
