During November some year 11 girls worked with Ciara, a schools worker from Corrymeela. We looked at who we are and the things that are important to us in our community.
At the end of November the girls headed off to Corrymeela with the Learning Mentors, and a group of girls from Our Lady of Mercy Girl‘s School. We got to know each other through games, craft and music. We thought some more about identity and understanding each other‘s community. We had some laughs talking about the stereotypes we had of each other! In 2007 the girls from both schools will have more activities with the Learning Mentors.
