On 8th November, 10 girls from the Youth Bank committee went for an overnight stay to the Share Centre, Enniskillen. The girls had money to spend on team building and this is how they decided to spend it. They also went with St. Gabriels College, Belfast making it a cross-community project. Activities ranged from canoeing to archery, banana-boating to human football!
Youth Bank is run by young people for other people. They are given a budget of £2000 and then they go through a process of advertising the money, analysing the application, we then hold a series of interviews and finally make the decisions.
Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed their stay, especially the quiz taken by Mr McKenna from St. Gabriels.
