The 2007 Boys and Girls Model Formal was held on Thursday 15th of February at the beautiful Hilton Hotel Temple Patrick. Boys and Girls arrived in style ranging from the limos to hummers to disco babe‘s bus. Not only this, everyone looked the part including the teachers.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal containing leek and potato soup, stuffed chicken with potatoes and vegetables and to top it all off, gorgeous profiteroles with chocolate sauce, There were no complaints for a change!
After this we presented flowers to our hard working senior teachers which followed by the highly exciting awards that everyone had been impatiently waiting on. This added humour to our night as both teachers and pupils laughed their way through, Some of the awards consisted of hunk of the year, teacher of the year and mini Leitch for the teachers as well as Miss and Mrs Model, Hairdo and Party Animal of the Year for the pupils.
To top of a great night the band "The Untouchables" played a range of good music from the 80's - recent times which had everyone up dancing and even on the floor with "Rock the Boat!"
Everyone seemed to have a fantastic night even after all the disagreements leading up to it haha!!
However, the party didn‘t stop there for the pupils as they headed to Whites Tavern for the after formal.
