As part of the Extended School Programme, Mrs Cruise has been creating and tutoring new primary rock bands within many of the local primary schools. Through this the pupils selected attend our school each Wednesday participating in drums, guitar and singing lessons as well as learning new songs together. The schools involved are:

· Wheatfield Primary School
· Seaview Primary School
· Forthriver Primary School

Each week, pupils get the opportunity to receive professional tutoring in a range of instruments/vocals and have lots of fun at the same time. The excitement from the pupils can be felt throughout the school and their enthusiasm should be commended.

"Every Wednesday there is an added excitement within the music department and the pupils are always willing to try new songs as well as learn more about their instruments. The pupils have improved vastly over the last number of weeks and they are a privilege to teach. I am grateful to the teachers and principals of the primary schools for allowing these pupils to attend". Mrs Cruise
