As usual, there were a number of musical items provided by the music department. As well as our traditional school hymn accompanied by the school orchestra, they also performed the theme tune from ”The Sweeney“. There were also performances from the school choir singing ”For The Beauty Of The Earth“ by John Rutter as well as the debut performance form the newly assembled chamber choir. They sang ”God Be In My Head“, fashioning very smart robes, they really did look the part!

Some notable awards were presented to those pupils achieving excellent A-level and GCSE results. Stacey Dillon received an award for best all-round performance within her A-levels where she achieved a Grade A in Sociology and Grade B in Geography and History. Also, Rebecca Hughes and Gillian Orr received the award for the best all-round performance within their GCSEs. Only a glimpse of the excellent standard of results for Summer 2007.
