In December, the Pony Club went to Lessans Riding School in Saintfield. The girls enjoyed walking around the stables and having a look at a wide variety of horses and ponies. The horses enjoyed meeting the girls too as many of them had brought nice treats to feed them. The girls tacked up their ponies and took them into a large barn for a pony riding lesson. Mounting the pony was nerve racking for some, but soon after they were having great fun walking and trotting around the arena. Sophie Ross won a rosette for making excellent progress during the lesson and each girl was given a horse shoe as a memento of their trip.

Miss Crymble would like to thank Nurse Dennison and Miss Kelly for their support and coming on the trip.
