At the beginning of February a training day was organised for some pupils currently studying our GCSE Dance course. Within this course the girls must learn and perform a solo dance piece which is examined by an external moderator therefore this must be perfected to the last step. Along with our girls, GCSE dance pupils from three other schools (Newry High, Limavady High and St. Cecilia‘s College from Londonderry) also attended to share in this wonderful experience.
A professional dance tutor travelled from England especially to teach the pupils a new routine, allowing them to learn new styles and skills and also pick up some useful tips on their existing skill base. This day was both enjoyable and educational for all who participated and we would like to thank all those involved in organising this event.
