Men's Night

Following the success of the Ladies Pamper Night held in March the Belfast Model School for Girls‘ Parent Voice Group held a Men‘s Night on 17th June 2008. The evening proved to be even more successful than the ladies night with attendees enjoying a range of facilities including haircuts, Turkish shaves, Indian head massages, various health checks, astronomy stand and refreshments. The competitive streak emerged in many with games of darts and sports on the Nintendo Wii. The big football match of the evening was also available for those who were keeping track of the score! A raffle was held towards the end of the evening with many of the prizes being kindly donated by businesses in the local community, prizes included an iPod, sports wear, sports watches and many more.

Feedback from this evening was 100% positive with nearly all the men asking when the event would run again. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped towards this event especially all the businesses that donated prizes, all the professionals who worked on the evening and the volunteers of the GMS Parents Voice Group who tirelessly give their free time to organise and run these valuable community events.
