Pony Club Trip
In December fourteen girls set off with Miss Crymble and Nurse Dennison to Lessans Riding School in Saintfield. Many of the girls hadn‘t been pony riding before and looked forward to this new experience. On arrival the girls enjoyed walking around the stables and seeing horses and ponies of all shapes and sizes.
The girls got on their riding gear, tacked up their own ponies and walked them down to the barn where they had a lesson. They learnt how to sit on their pony properly, steer it, trot around the arena and even play some games while horseback. We plan to have another trip in March.
