8C0: Budding Actresses

On Tuesday 18th November 8CO performed role plays on bullying to coincide with anti-bullying week. The class decided this was a great idea because it was agreed that everyone can be a victim of bullying. They also thought it was a good idea to try to empathise with both the victim and bully, in the hope that a greater understanding could prevent it happening in future.

The role plays were excellent, and some were very realistic. All of the class worked extremely hard in order to produce their best performance for the rest of the class. 8CO enjoyed being a part of the whole school anti-bullying campaign, and they feel they made a difference in their class.

Some of their comments were:
”We learned not to leave anyone out on purpose.“

”It was good to try to understand what the victims feel like.“

”Bullying just makes everyone sad“

”Teachers really care about the pupils in this school.“

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Simpson, the Head of Drama, for all of her hard work and dedication. We have wonderful resources and love doing drama every week.
