8NC: Secret Superheroes!

As we are studying the novel Matilda in class, we decided to pretend we had our own secret powers. This was great fun as we designed our own costumes and had our photographs taken. We had to complete a written task describing our powers, which we read out to the whole class. This was very funny and entertaining.

Some of our Superhero names were:

Golden Girl - who can turn anything into gold if she touches it!

Cave Girl - who can travel through time!

The Hairless Cat - who can grow or shrink when she pulls her pigtails!

Miss Clean and Sparkle - who can make everything clean!

· The Money Honey - who can make money appear from nowhere!
· Megan the Magnificent - who can jump into books!
· Cheetah Kita - who can run very fast!
· Ribbon Queen - who can change the weather!
· Freeze Girl - who turns things into ice!
· Mini - Me - Ashley - who can predict the future!
· Super Speed Holly - who can appear out of nowhere!

We really enjoyed this task as we had to use our creativity and imagination. It was good fun pretending to have super-powers for a day!
