During the month of December, the Ulster Operatic Company put on a fantastic music extravaganza starring Peter Corry called, ‘The Music Box’. The show was held in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. The show was set to rediscover the wonder of Christmas past and present with a variety of music and dance performances. The star of the show was Peter Cory who performed a number of songs including, ‘Behold a child’, ‘Oh Holy Night’, ’12 Days of Christmas’ and many more. Other songs included in the show were ‘Silent Night’, ‘Step into Christmas’, ‘White Christmas’ and lots more. This spectacular show featured both present and past pupils.
Katy Dalzell (8NE) gave an outstanding performance, dancing to ‘The Nutcracker Suite’ with her fellow performers from the Laura Walker School of Ballet.
Past pupil Stephanie Watters impressed the audience with her act of ‘Little Drummer Boy’ which she performed as a duet with Simon Cunningham.
