Year 8 were given an assignment to complete independently at home over a period of 3 weeks. They had to produce a presentation on a topic of their choice. They could use power point or posters as a visual aid and they had to make their presentation interactive. Mrs McKeown and the whole class found the presentations very interesting.
Many topics were covered including: Animals, Pop Stars, Books, Families, Friends and Hobbies. Mrs McKeown found the presentations very informative – she now knows everything about Justin Bieber and JLS and she didn’t realise 8NE were full of posers!! The class enjoyed taking part in the interactive quiz sections, especially the quiz on Twlight and Hello Kitty.
Overall, this assignment taught 8NE many skills and qualities. They are now more confident in talking in front of others, they are more disciplined when listening when others are speaking, they developed their ICT skills and they learned to work independently, whilst planning and prioritising their time.
